Dr. Jivisha Joshi Gangopadhyay is the Deputy Secretary for Logistics & Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) Division, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIT) in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. She is the nodal officer for PM Gatishakti. Along with PM Gatishakti, her responsibilities include – National Logistics Policy, Green Logistics Initiative, International and EXIM related issues pertaining to logistics.

She is also nodal officer for Ease of Doing Business and looks after The World Bank’s B-Ready index along with Decriminalization of Laws for investment friendliness in the country.
On the logistics and infrastructure front, she has been working with multinational organizations including G20, BIMSTEC, SCO, Asian Development Bank and World Bank, and also part of international coordination efforts with countries such as Germany, Singapore and Republic of Korea.

She is an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service with extensive experience in operational and project management areas. She is an avid reader, trained dancer and travel enthusiast.
